DATABASE REPAIR AND PASSWORD RECOVERY

Microsoft^® Access is a very stable database program, but no matter how careful you are and what safeguards you have in place, everyone is at risk of data corruption. Hard disk failures, missing backups, human error etc. can all lead to a catastrophic failure of your database system. Any of these system messages can put fear into the heart of the most competent user.

There are a range of reasons why failures can occur, such as:

When there are some bad sectors in your storage device
Corruption due to a Virus
Improper System Shutdown
Application malfunctioning
Network failure
Human error

Don't worry! We offer a database repair and data recovery service. There is a very good chance that we will be able to recover the full database if it is *.mdb format and, at least, the data contained in a *.mde format database. We will provide you with a FREE report of your database condition and the probability of recovery. You can then decide if you want us to recover the data.

Unlike many data recovery companies, our charges for this service are at our standard rate.

If you suspect your database has become corrupted, follow these steps IMMEDIATELY to ensure the best chance of data recovery

Back up your database file and any associated files to an external source. NEVER overwrite a previous backup as it may be needed for restoring the original database.
Do not save additional files to the hard drive that the corrupted database file resided on until the disk has been checked.
Make a complete backup of all files on the suspect hard drive
Send us your corrupt database file along with any associated support files.

We will normally be able to give you a condition report of the database within 24 hours of receipt of the corrupt file. Repair/rebuild of the database will take place after you have accepted our quotation and will be within 24 hours. For very business critical databases, we offer a rapid recovery service which is available 24/7.

In accordance with the Data Protection Act, any data files you supply to us will be destroyed after completion of the recovery and return of the repaired file.

Password Recovery

It is very common for passwords for databases to be lost or forgotten. EnMoS Systems provide a confidential password recovery service for any Microsoft Office program, not just MS Access. Please contact us to discuss your requirements.

NOTE: We will only undertake password recovery requests from authorised business users and will require requests on headed business paper.
