The EnMoS System

If you have gone to the trouble of spending time and money collecting environmental data, you will want to get the most out of that data with the minimum of effort. EnMoS has been developed over the past five years with the help of several environmental management companies. The program has been designed and written by environmental scientists and managers who have had 'hands on' experience of the problems of dealing with a wide range of environmental data. Users who have contributed to the final version of EnMoS include County Councils, City Councils, Waste Management Companies, Water Companies, and Environmental Companies.

EnMoS has been designed to be as future-proof as possible and, being based on the Microsoft® Access™ database program, has the familiar feel of the MS-Office suite of programs and is fully compatible with them. Using this 'open' database structure allows the user to command an extremely powerful range of data manipulation tools in the knowledge that as environmental, legislative and technological changes occur; EnMoS will be able to evolve to meet those changes.
