The Pandemic Flu Database has been designed to collate all information surrounding the issue of anti-virals. It has been developed in conjunction with North East Essex NHS to meet their requirements for recording patient requests for anti-virals in their area. While the database has been developed to meet their own exacting requirements, it can be modified by us to meet the data requirements of other NHS areas as required.

The Pandemic Flu Database system consists of a back-end data store which has full administration features, and a front-end data input form which has the same look and feel as the back end. Because the front-end is completely separate, a large number of individual operators can use the database simultaneously in times of high demand.

This demonstration is of the Administrator back-end database and, apart from only allowing 50 records, has the full functionality of the 'for sale' version. The front-end database has the same look and feel but there are none of the administrative functions present. The front end database is intended for rapid data input by telephone support staff.
